Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

- At least 5 years of experience

-INTRAORAL SCAN TRAINED AND CT SCAN CAPABLE.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and update patient records
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar
- Assist with dental lab tasks, such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order as needed

Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (Epic)
- Ability to perform patient assessments and take accurate medical histories
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating dental restorations
