Job Description
Job Title: Dental Assistant (Full-Time – Split Location)
Locations: Bonita & La Jolla
Schedule: Full-Time (Split between both offices – approximately 25 minutes apart)
Compensation: $23–$25 per hour
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant to join a growing, patient-focused dental team serving both Bonita and La Jolla. This full-time position will split time between the two modern, well-established offices located just 25 minutes apart.
This is a great opportunity for a team-oriented assistant who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories.
- Take digital radiographs (as permitted by licensure).
- Set up and break down treatment rooms.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards.
- Support team members to maintain smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous Dental Assistant experience preferred.
- Active California Dental Assistant certification.
- Coronal polishing and X-ray certification (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to commute between both locations.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset.
