Position is for four days (Office hours are 8-5 a week). Benefits (PTO, Paid Holidays, Dental Plan) are be included after 90 day review. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities include: Assisting in most major facets of dentistry including Restorative, Endodontic, Child Prophylaxis, Oral Hygiene Instruction and Oral surgery procedures. Taking x-rays, sterilization, cleaning rooms, stocking Basic math skills and ability to perform basic front office duties when needed

Experience:

• Dental Assistants: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while following safety standards.
• Manage patient records and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Experience with dental software
• Conduct preliminary assessments including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history.
• Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, including prosthodontics and endodontics.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Operate dental equipment such as 3D scanners and assist with medical imaging as needed.

Requirements

• Registered Dental License
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques.
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform medical coding, documentation, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols within a dental clinic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
