Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and readily available.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Manage patient records, including medical documentation, while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks as a dental receptionist when necessary.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
• Assist in the fabrication of dental prosthetics under the guidance of the dentist, particularly in prosthodontics cases.
• must have X-ray licence and should able to do coronal polishing .

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and procedures.
• Proficiency in general dentistry practices with experience in dental assisting preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Ability to perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
