Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant wanted to assist in providing excellent dentistry to patients in a welcoming and comfortable environment. Experience in dentistry not required, we are willing to train the right person.

Job Duties would include:

• reviewing medical history, record keeping for new patient visits
• Chairside assisting on dental appointments
• Monitoring vital signs and administering medication
• starting IVs
• giving pre and post op care instructions
• Lab work and taking impressions
• working independently on procedures as allowed
• keeping supply inventory
• maintaining a sterile environment
• Current CPR cert required or obtained within 3 months of hire
• Presenting options for dental work and guiding patients through expectations and procedures
• Making high anxiety patients feel comfortable and at ease
• other dental assistant duties as required.
• Dental assistant expanded function certification would need to be completed within 6 months of hire

This candidate would work closely with an experienced assistant for training, but will be expected to learn quickly, be self driven, and be able to manage several tasks at once in a high intensity environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
