IAU Dental

We are a friendly, upscale dental practice in Brooklyn Park. We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time DA : Full-Time will work 5 days a week and Part-Time will work 3 days a week (preferred but we are very flexible). $24 to 28 Hourly.
Applicants must have certificate for Xray from accredited dental school in the state of Minnesota and applicant must be certified to take Xray in Minnesota; applicant will do other duties as required by the state practice act.

We are looking for a DA to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. As a Dental Assistant, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• Sterilize dental instruments properly
• Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
• Take X-rays
• Monitor supplies:
• Greet and escort patients to treatment room
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take and record dental histories and document treatment
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Perform all necessary lab procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments and proper tray setups
• Outstanding communication skills
• A patient and friendly personality
• Attention to detail

Signing Bonus

Salary: $24.00 - 28.00 per hour
