Seeking Dental Assistants with Maryland license!!!

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the oral health of individuals in the community. As a Dental Assistant in our offices, you will work closely with our dental team to provide essential dental services to underserved populations.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Take and develop dental x-rays as required

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during examinations and treatments

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories

- Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement community outreach programs

- Actively participate in community events and initiatives to promote oral health awareness

- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by identifying opportunities for program growth and improvement

Requirements:

-Maryland Dental Assisting license

-Experience working in a Medicaid office

- Strong passion for serving underserved communities and improving oral health outcomes

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging systems

- Knowledge of infection control protocols and dental office procedures
