Dental Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be eager and willing to learn, prior dental experience is preferred. Candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, treat patients with dignity and respect, setup and break down of the treatment rooms, take patient radiographs, manage the processing and sterilization of instruments, and ensure excellent patient care.

Duties:

- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

- Proficiency in medical documentation
- Experience in assisting with dental procedures
- Knowledge of X-Ray procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques
- Ability to handle medical imaging equipment
- Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus
- Knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology
- Ability to maintain accurate dental records

Schedule:

*Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 4pm

* No weekends

* No holidays
