Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Luis Moya DDS, Inc. The ideal candidate will assist our dentists in delivering high-quality care, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for preparing patients for treatments, assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments, managing patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments before, during, and after dental procedures.
• Assist the dentist during examinations, cleanings, and other procedures.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of treatments.
• Provide patients with post-procedure instructions and care guidelines.
• Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and tools.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering dental supplies.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification (where applicable) and CPR certification.
• Previous dental office experience preferred.
• Proficient in dental software and office systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude.
• Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
