Office Hours: Monday-Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 8-4

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our family dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental systems, infection control protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
• Manage medical records accurately, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
• Operate dental equipment, X-ray machines, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
• Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and disinfecting surfaces according to established guidelines.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dental Assistant
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology is essential for effective communication and patient education.
• Previous experience in a dental assisting role is highly desirable; we welcome motivated candidates willing to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to follow infection control protocols diligently to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike
