Dental Assistant

We are searching for a patient-focused, friendly, and skilled chairside dental assistant to work with us! Our hours are 7:45am-5pm on Monday through Wednesday and 7:45am-4pm Thursdays with occasional Friday mornings 8am-12pm.

Responsibilities: You will help prepare each dental operatory for patient treatment by setting up instruments and supplies, seat patients from the waiting room, suction chairside, fabricate temporary crowns, make alginate impressions, pour up models, take panoramic and cone beam CT scans, take bitewing, periapical, and endo radiographs, monitor patients on nitrous oxide, order supplies, organize laboratory cases, ultrasonic and statim/autoclave sterilization, office organization, periodic social media posts, intraoral photography, and occasional patient phone communication scheduling and sending x-rays and referrals to specialists. We now digitally scan many of our impressions too with a Trios 5!

Credentials: Registered Dental Assistant. Nitrous monitoring and x-ray certifications are required. Coronal polishing is helpful but not required. Expanded function for restorative or prosthodontics would be helpful but also not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
