Dental Assistant

Sturbridge Dental is looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. We’re hiring a Dental Assistant who knows how to keep things running smoothly chairside, supports the doctor with precision and care, and helps create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures

• Take and process dental X-rays

• Review medical histories and update patient records accurately

• Provide post-operative instructions and ensure patients feel comfortable and informed

• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and restock operatories as needed

• Prepare patients for exams and treatments

• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere and deliver excellent patient experiences

• Maintaining a caring and friendly environment that reinforces our company's core values

Qualifications:

• Valid and current MA State Dental Assistant License
• Current and valid X-ray Certification
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and changes
• Proficient with Microsoft office and Practice Management Software
