Tusk Dental Co. is located in Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA has been serving Westhampton area for over 75 years. This practice is run by a single Dentist and we are looking for a well experienced part-time Dental Assistant to join our family.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Enter and maintain patient records (e.g., Dentrix)

Requirements:

- Well experienced dental assistant able to work effectively
- x-ray certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software (e.g., Dentrix) and other office equipment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 28.0 per week
