**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental professionals in providing exceptional patient care. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about oral health and want to make a difference in people's lives. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental setting and be familiar with general dentistry practices.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist dentists and hygienists in preparing for patient appointments, including taking vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, and sterilizing instruments.
- Assist in all aspects of patient care, including dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
- Utilize 3D scanner technology to capture patient impressions and aid in the creation of custom dental restorations.
- Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist in the development of patient treatment plans, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and documented.
- Participate in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software to manage patient information and update records accordingly.
- Develop a strong rapport with patients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest dental techniques and best practices, including pediatric dentistry.
**Requirements:**
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience preferred.
- Certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software and experience with 3D scanner technology preferred, but not needed (in house training available).
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Adherence to HIPAA guidelines and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
