Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are readily available.
• Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Take and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively for communication with the dental team and patients.
• Support the dentist in endodontic procedures, including the use of specialized tools and techniques.
• Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes, assisting in creating accurate dental models.
• Understand medical coding practices to assist with patient record management.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

Experience
Candidates should possess prior experience as a Dental Assistant or have completed relevant training programs. Familiarity with dental systems, aseptic techniques, infection control practices, and medical terminology is essential. Experience in endodontics and proficiency with 3D scanning technology will be considered advantageous. A strong commitment to patient care and teamwork is required for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
