Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, and orthodontic procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns, intraoral scanning

-Set up LASERS for dental procedure

-Scan for Invisalign

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
- Proficiency in using dental software, such as Eaglesoft, for scheduling and record keeping
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics
- Experience assisting with veneers, implant placement, and Invisalign

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

-Must know how to use Intraoral scanner for all types of restorative procedures and Invisalign
- Ability to take accurate vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records and treatment plans
- Ability to focus in emergency environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
