Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly according to infection control protocols.
• Assist dentists during various procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and professionalism.
• Take dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards and proper aseptic techniques.
• Manage patient records by updating medical histories, documenting treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality.
• Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and monitoring vital signs to ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and answer questions related to dental terminology and procedures.
• Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist, managing electronic medical records using EMR systems like Eaglesoft.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
