Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring adherence to safety standards
• Manage patient records and medical documentation accurately
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions
• Perform vital signs checks and assist with medical imaging when necessary
• Maintain an organized inventory of dental supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care in general dentistry
