We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist during various treatments and procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for patient treatment.
• Perform medical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment plans.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing processes.
• Conduct basic laboratory tasks such as impressions and the use of 3D scanners for imaging.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
• Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures is essential.
• Familiarity with medical coding and medical imaging techniques is a plus.
• Proficient in using dental software such as Dentrix for patient management.
• Ability to perform tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory.
