Dental Assistant

Overview:

Duxbury Dental Associates is a private dental practice looking to hire an energetic, motivated, and self-sufficient Certified Dental Assistant. Our office prides itself in providing quality dental care in a comforting and positive environment. We are seeking an outgoing individual to join our team that shares the same passion for a great patient experience!

Position Details:

Certified Dental Assistant

Full Time or Part Time: Mon-Thurs 7:30-3:30

Job Duties:

• Set up treatment rooms for planned procedures including trays, instruments, materials and supplies; cleans before and after appointments in preparation for next patient
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Takes digital x-rays, assist with oral examinations and patient charting
• Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Passes instruments and materials and performs routine procedures
• Manages and schedules patient appointments as needed; maintains an active inventory of equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current Dental Assistant license
• Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience; at least one (1) year of related experience.
• Current X-ray certification
• Experience with dental software and technology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
