Our office specializes in a variety of dental procedures, including surgical extractions, in-office Cerec crowns, dental implants, and root canals.

We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. If you are passionate about patient care, experienced in surgical and restorative dentistry, and want to work in a fun, diverse, and supportive environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including:

• Surgical extractions, including third molars
• Implant placements and restorations
• Cerec crown design and fabrication (preferred but willing to train)
• Root canals (experience with endodontic procedures a plus)

Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring a clean, sterile environment
Take high-quality digital X-rays (certification required)
Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records in our practice management system
Sterilize and organize instruments following OSHA and CDC guidelines
Ensure proper handling and setup of dental materials (composites, cements, impression materials, etc.)
Provide a warm, affirming, and inclusive experience for every patient.

What We’re Looking For

Required: Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience (preferably in oral surgery, restorative, or implant dentistry)
Active X-ray certification for Washington, DC
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
Strong chairside assisting skills, with ability to anticipate dentist’s needs
Experience or willingness to learn Cerec technology
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all patients

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
Experience assisting with IV sedation cases
Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend software
Bilingual (Spanish, ASL, or other languages are a plus!)
