We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

Assist the dentist during procedures (handing instruments, suctioning, etc.)

Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and update patient records

Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort

Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment

Manage patient flow and support efficient clinic operations

Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling, charting, and patient intake

Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene best practices
Qualifications

1+ year of experience as a Dental Assistant (or relevant training)

Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments

Active Dental Assistant certification (if required by state)

Experience with digital X-rays and dental software preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
Preferred

CPR/BLS certification

Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar systems
