As a Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating positive patient experiences, supporting clinical excellence, and helping our community achieve healthy, confident smiles.

What You'll Do

• Greet, welcome, and prepare patients for treatment
• Build positive relationships through excellent communication and patient care
• Assist chairside during dental procedures, including suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient positioning
• Sterilize and organize instruments according to infection control standards
• Select, mix, and place dental materials as directed
• Take and process dental radiographs
• Fabricate temporary restorations and polish dental appliances
• Provide oral hygiene education and post-operative care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and infection control protocols
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory management
• Maintain current CPR certification and support emergency procedures when necessary
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dental Assisting Certificate or Degree
• Current CPR certification
• Basic computer proficiency
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work with patients ages 3 and older
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a one-doctor, two-column schedule
