Dental Assistant

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant in our Adrian, Michigan location.

Family Medical Center of Michigan, Inc is a health center offering dental, optical, medical and behavioral health services. Our Dental Clinic is located within the health center.

The ideal candidate will have top notch chairside customer service skills and observe dental assisting best practices.

Responsibilities include assisting the dental team in the care and treatment of patients incliding:

• Patient preparation and set up
• X-Ray imaging as directed
• Chair side assisting, assuring patient comfort and safety
• Patient Education
• Patient records entry into Dentrix
• Prepare and sterilize equipment before and after use
• Inventory
• Occasional reception back up including greetings, insurance verification

Family Medical Center of Michigan, Inc., offers a $350 Sign-On Bonus
Monday - Friday, 8am -5pm work week with no weekends, evenings, or major holidays.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from a recognized Dental Assistant Program
• Previous experience desired (Will consider new graduates)
• X-ray certification preferred
• Experience with Electronic Health Records
• Bi-lingual a plus
