Dental Assistant – Experienced

Greater Richmond Dentistry is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing private practice in Chesterfield, Virginia. We are a modern, technology-driven dental office committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced technology, efficient systems, and a supportive team environment.

Pay

$25.50–$29.50 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and clinical skills.

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Fridays: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, prosthodontic, and emergency procedures
• Take high-quality digital radiographs in accordance with Virginia regulations
• Prepare, disinfect, and break down operatories efficiently between patients
• Maintain OSHA, CDC, and infection control standards at all times
• Support smooth patient flow and an exceptional patient experience
• Assist with clinical documentation and treatment presentation as directed
• Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for patient care
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dental assisting experience required
• Strong chairside assisting skills and clinical knowledge
• Experience with digital radiography required
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, ADA, and Virginia Board of Dentistry requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Dentrix Ascend experience preferred
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred

Pay: $25.50 - $29.50 per hour
