Dental Assistant DA

Job Summary
We are a privately owned, locally operated dental practice seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. Unlike large corporate offices, we pride ourselves on providing personalized patient care in a friendly, community-focused environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to creating a positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
• Take and develop dental X-rays (as permitted by state regulations)
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Provide patients with post-operative care instructions
• Manage dental supplies and inventory
• Ensure the operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and be trained on the job
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Certification or licensure as required by state (if applicable)
• X-ray certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
