Dental Assistant (DA/RDA)

Job Summary

We are a fast growing Multi-Specialty dental practice and have an immediate need for a RDA/DA to join our dynamic team. Candidates should be friendly, professional, detail oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, energetic and hard working.

We do only fee-for-service for providing high quality service. Our new modern office has state-of-the-art latest high-tech dental equipment and software.

RDA/DA position could be Full-time or Part-Time. Compensation will depend on your level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in the dental office
• Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to Osha regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Able to pour diagnostic casts
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean, well stocked, and set up for the next patient
• Able to take readable x-rays ( no cone cuts/ overlapping)
• Keep track of inventory and make a list of supplies that are running low
• Keep RDA Lic, BLS,CRP up to date

Experience

• Proven Experience as a RDA/DA
• Current RDA license is preferred
• Prior knowledge of dental terminology
• Current x-ray & CPR certification
• Coronal polishing certificate
• Ability to make temporary crowns
• Dentrix software experience is helpful, but not required
• Prior experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare environment is required; familiarity with dental assisting is essential.
• Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is highly preferred.

Pay: $27.53 - $38.00 per hour
