Dental Assistant Floater

Floater Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (DA/RDA)

Responsibilities

Clinical Support

  • Assist the doctor during restorative, cosmetic, and general procedures
  • Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
  • Take digital X-rays while following proper safety protocols
  • Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
  • Ensure instruments and trays are prepared for each procedure
  • Support smooth and organized clinical flow with other back office team.

Front Office Support

  • Greet and check in patients with a friendly, professional approach
  • Answer phones and assist with patient communication
  • Help with scheduling and confirmations.
  • Support the front office team as needed

Patient Care & Compliance

  • Help create a comfortable and positive patient experience
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix (EMR)
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Dental Assistant or RDA license (preferred)
  • Experience in general dentistry
  • Proficiency in chairside assisting, X-rays, and infection control
  • Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Dental assisting and front office : 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Registered Dental Assistant or DA Certification (Preferred)
