Dental Assistant Nurse

• Strong foundation of clinical skills and professional nursing knowledge
• Previous hands-on experience in nursing or dental nursing
• Valid DHA license
• Valid BLS certification
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Nurse
• Provide oral health education and instructions to patients
• Use a variety of dental instruments to scale, polish, and clean teeth
• Remove plaque and apply treatments to reduce or prevent tooth decay
• Ensure proper sterilization of all dental tools and instruments
• Take dental radiographs and impressions, and administer local anesthesia under the Dentist’s supervision
• Apply temporary sealants and protective coatings to teeth
• Collect dental and medical histories and maintain accurate patient health records
• Work in accordance with professional ethics and stay up to date with the latest industry developments
