Camellia Dentistry is looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team on Tuesdays and Fridays (subject to change depending on availability). We are a modern private dental practice committed to providing high-quality care in a welcoming environment. We value teamwork, professionalism, and creating a positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate clinical records
• Assist with ordering and organizing dental supplies
• Help ensure the office runs efficiently throughout the day

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Current X-ray certification (required if applicable under California regulations)
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
• Familiarity with digital dental software; Open Dental experience is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
• Friendly, compassionate attitude with excellent patient care skills

Schedule

• Part-time
• Every Tuesday and Friday (if possible)
• In-person position

Compensation

• $18–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
