Job Summary
Harbour Place Dental is looking to complete our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant (Registered Dental Assistant - RDA) and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic role, you will support dentists in providing comprehensive dental treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic operation. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontic treatments, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical documentation protocols.
- Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic to ensure accurate medical records and medical coding.
- Perform vital signs assessment and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient evaluations.
- Support front desk operations by assisting the dental receptionist with appointment scheduling and patient communication when needed.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and sterilization of instruments to uphold clinic safety standards.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment plans, and post-procedure care to enhance their understanding and comfort.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or certification with proven experience in dental assisting.
- Proficiency in chairside assisting across general dentistry procedures; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with digital imaging tools including X-ray equipment is preferred.
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement and support procedures involving medical terminology and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.

- Tuesday 8-5
- Wednesday 9-6
- Thursday 8-2
- Friday 8-2 (2 Fridays per month)
**Signing bonus $500 after 6 months of employoment**
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
