Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant/RDA to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a strong understanding of dental procedures. This role involves assisting the dentist during various treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow, and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Take imaging, including X-rays, and ensure accurate documentation of records.
- Manage patient flow by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant/RDA is preferred.
- Proficiency in dental imaging techniques and familiarity with dental software systems is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Certification in dental assisting, x-ray certification or RDA license is required.
