Dental Assistant/2-4days per wk

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures.
• Assist dentists during various treatments,
• Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment while maintaining proper radiation safety protocols.
• Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) like , Eaglesoft, to ensure accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and medical history.
• Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with dental receptionists, and managing patient flow efficiently.

Qualifications

experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in chairside assisting and dental terminology.

• Knowledge of EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, documentation and records management.
• Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental setting.
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
• Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training; additional certifications in radiography or CPR are advantageous. Join our small, private family practice.

Pay: $24.93 - $30.02 per hour
