Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. 4 or 5 days/week

Duties

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices.
• Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Use dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure instructions clearly to patients.
• Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to increase efficiency and enhance patient comfort during procedures.
• Maintain detailed medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Assist in dental fabrication processes when necessary and support the clinic’s overall operational needs.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties to provide cutting-edge care.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record management.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards.
• Experience with pediatric dentistry practices and procedures specific to pediatrics is highly desirable.
• Expertise in dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics, and oral surgery techniques.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient care including patient assessment and education on oral health maintenance.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for protecting patient privacy and handling medical records securely.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex procedures clearly to diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal workflow.
