Responsibilities

• Process and review dental billing claims for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Utilize ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems to ensure proper coding of dental diagnoses and procedures.
• Manage accounts receivable, including follow-up on unpaid claims and collections.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain detailed medical records and documentation to support billing processes.
• Stay updated on coding practices and insurance policies.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to billing activities and performance metrics.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental billing systems and software applications.
• Strong knowledge of dental coding, including ADA codes and other relevant coding standards.
• Experience with dental collections processes and handling accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with dental office operations and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
