We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Desk professional to join our vibrant dental team! Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
  • Verify insurance benefits and perform insurance eligibility checks utilizing systems like Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth
  • Collect payments, process medical collections, and handle billing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage patient records and ensure proper documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and assist with patient inquiries
  • Maintain organized dental records, medical files, and office supplies while supporting clinic operations seamlessly

Skills

  • Strong experience with dental office management systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Meditech is a plus
  • Proficiency in medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and insurance verification processes including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, ICD coding, and care plan documentation
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; typing speed of 10 key or more is preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information following HIPAA standards
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively
  • Prior clinic or dental office experience combined with clerical skills such as filing, data entry, and appointment scheduling enhances your fit for this role

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
