Dental Hygiene Assistant

Friendly fast-paced dental practice searching for a full-time self-motivated hygiene assistant to help hygienist perform efficiently. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting treatment plans, assisting hygienist as necessary, charting, taking dental radiographs, setting-up and preparing dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines, performing efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain Hygienist's schedule and patient flow, providing excellent customer service to help ensure a smooth and comfortable visit for the patient, sanitizing patient rooms after treatment, ensuring treatment areas are fully stocked. Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred

· Reading and writing ability in Spanish and English

· Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills

· Professionalism and integrity in all aspects of job, including image and both verbal and written communication skills

· Possess exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including conflict resolution skills

· Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills

· Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment

· Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as required

· Valid driver's license required

· Travel between practice locations required

Job Type: Full-time
