As a Dental Hygiene, you'll support our dental hygienists, help maintain a high standard of patient care, and contribute to our team’s positive energy.

Key Responsibilities of the Dental Hygiene Assistant:

• Assist the dental hygienist with patient care and clinical procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays if certified
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Follow infection control & OSHA guidelines
• Support patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions
• Help manage the hygiene schedule & ensure workflow efficiency
• Restock and organize hygiene supplies
• Prepare and present treatment plans when needed
• Assist other clinical team members as needed to support smooth patient care

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, especially hygiene work
• X-ray certification required or willingness to obtain it
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, team-focused, and organized
• Familiarity with dental software, especially Dentrix, is a plus
