Dental Hygienist

Overview
We are a long established, privately owned dental practice seeking a dental hygienist to work on Fridays. Our modern office is equipped with the latest technology, providing a supportive and progressive environment for both our team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
• Perform vital signs monitoring and medical imaging as needed.
• Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized care instructions.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
• Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and care quality.
• Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
• Experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
• Strong background in chairside assisting and dental assisting practices.
• Knowledge of medical coding, medical terminology, and documentation standards.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.
