Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic systems
- Assist the dentist during procedures and provide chairside support
Requirements:
- Valid dental hygiene license in [state]
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic systems for patient record management
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
