Technical Manager( Dental Lab Manager)

JOB PURPOSE:

The Technical Manager leads and oversees the day-to-day operations of the dental laboratory, ensuring high-quality production of dental prosthetics and appliances. The role ensures process standardization, continuous quality improvement, and innovation in techniques, materials, and digital workflows to support business growth and operational excellence

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Lead and manage the dental lab technical teams to achieve production, quality, and delivery KPIs.

2. Implement and continuously improve standard operating procedures, workflows, and quality

assurance systems across all technical areas.

3. Drive adoption of new technologies (e.g., digital design, CAD/CAM, 3D printing) and materials to

enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

4. Train, mentor, and develop technical staff, building a high-performing and skilled workforce.

5. Support cross-functional projects and contribute to strategic planning for lab capacity and capability

expansion.

COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal:

• Production, Quality, Procurement, Customer Service, Sale

External:

• Suppliers, equipment vendors, training partners

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in dental laboratory operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Proven experience managing technical teams and implementing advanced digital dental

workflows.

Skills:

• Technical: CAD/CAM systems, 3D printing, dental prosthetic fabrication, digital workflow

integration, quality management systems

• Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, problem solving

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

Technical Writing:

• Technical Writing: Intermediate

• Advanced knowledge of dental lab production workflows

• Strong understanding of dental materials and their applications

• Digital dentistry technologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED28,000.00 per month
