Job Description – Dental Lab Technician (Clear Aligner)

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and review intraoral scan files taken by dentists, verify data accuracy, and prepare digital models for the aligner workflow.

• Assist in digital staging, tooth movement planning, and setup under orthodontic guidance.

• 3D print dental models with correct orientation, calibration, and resolution settings.

• Thermoform, trim, polish, and finish aligners to meet clinical quality benchmarks.

• Conduct detailed quality checks on every case to ensure fit, clarity, comfort, and trimming precision.

• Coordinate with dentists for case modifications, refinements, and attachment planning.

• Maintain equipment logs, printer maintenance schedules, and material inventory.

• Troubleshoot print failures, warpage, and aligner defects efficiently.

• Ensure all cases meet production timelines while keeping quality as a top priority.

• Follow strict infection control, sterilization, and documentation protocols.

Skills and Experience Required

• 2–4 years of experience as a Dental Lab Technician.

• Proven experience in clear aligner workflows is essential.

• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and orthodontic concepts.

• Proficiency in digital design platforms such as Exocad, 3Shape, Maestro, or equivalent.

• Hands-on experience with 3D printing, model preparation, and thermoforming.

• Clear communication skills for effective coordination with the clinical team.

• Strong attention to detail with consistency and precision-driven work habits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
