Dental Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Dental Assistant with a DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Support:
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth chairside support.
• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials.
• Patient Care:
• Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, making them comfortable and addressing any concerns.
• Provide clear instructions to patients regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Instrument Sterilization:
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the treatment area.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Document treatment information in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Radiography:
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
• Educational Support:
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Provide information on post-operative care instructions.
• Assist with Administrative Tasks:
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar.
• Handle patient inquiries and coordinate with front desk staff as needed.
• Infection Control:
• Adhere to strict infection control measures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow established protocols for infection prevention and control.

Qualifications:

• DHA License:
• Possession of a valid DHA license as a Dental Assistant.
• Education:
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• Experience:
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in dental software, X-ray equipment, and other dental tools.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
