Dental Nurse

Job Description:

• GDC Registered Dental Nurse required from MONDAY TO THURSDAY
• To work with general dentist and an experienced Restorative Consultant providing periodontics, endodontics, dentures, surgical work, bone grafts, sinus lifts and dental implant placement
• Scope for appropriate long term pay progression becoming lead nurse for the right candidate
• Ashley Dental Centre is a small friendly multidisciplinary private practice in Hampton, TW12
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Responsibility for completion of certain CQC clinical tasks
• Provide high-level chairside support
• Scope for re-imbursement of one year's GDC fees for the right candidate after completion of three months probation period
• Scope for further clinical and professional training as required for progression for the right candidate

Roles:

• Excellent communication skills with patients and staff
• Manage a computerised diary
• Teamwork/liaise with other team members
• Assisting patients chairside
• Answering questions from patients and scheduling appointments
• Liaise with suppliers/dental labs/ other practices
• Ensure surgeries are maintained with respect to standards of cross infection control
• Administrative duties

Requirements:

• Experience and interest in oral surgery, endodontics, and dental implants
• Experience of specialist restorative dentistry ideally
• Up to date dental knowledge
• Knowledge of practice compliance software
• Two current references
• Current DBS Check (this can be arranged if no present DBS check)
• Start date is flexible for the right candidate
