About the Opportunity

A well-established family dental practice in Cypress, TX is hiring an experienced Office Manager to lead daily operations and help guide the practice into its next chapter.

The practice is transitioning to new ownership in summer 2026 and entering a growth phase focused on modernizing systems, expanding clinical services, improving team performance, and continuing to provide excellent patient care.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role for someone who wants real responsibility, direct access to ownership, and a meaningful voice in how the practice operates and grows.

About the Practice

  • Single-location, 6-operatory family dental practice
  • Established patient base built over more than a decade
  • Team includes an owner-dentist, associate dentist, two full-time hygienists, two full-time dental assistants, and front desk receptionist
  • Open Dental, digital imaging, digital scanners, and modern dental technology
  • Growing service mix including implants, Invisalign, and expanded in-house specialty care beginning in 2026

What You’ll Own

  • Lead and develop the front office team
  • Hold the team accountable to high standards in patient care, communication, scheduling, and case acceptance
  • Manage staff schedules, performance expectations, and team development
  • Oversee daily patient flow to improve efficiency and patient experience
  • Manage front office systems, including scheduling, patient communication, and records management
  • Lead PPO insurance verification, claims, accounts receivable, and fee schedule management
  • Track and report key practice metrics, including collections, production, case acceptance, new patient flow, and hygiene reactivation
  • Coordinate billing, payroll input, and budget oversight with ownership
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Texas State Board of Dental Examiners requirements, and other applicable regulations
  • Resolve patient concerns professionally and respectfully
  • Manage vendor relationships, including labs, supplies, IT, and marketing partners
  • Partner with ownership on hiring, systems improvement, growth initiatives, and quarterly planning

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of dental office management experience
  • Strong PPO insurance experience, including verification, claims, AR, and fee schedules
  • Open Dental experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing and managing a team
  • Comfortable reviewing reports, KPIs, P&Ls, and practice performance numbers
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a track record of improving office systems
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software and general office technology
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy dental office
