Dental Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation of the clinic and enhancing patient experience.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
• Schedule and confirm appointments using medical scheduling software.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
• Handle insurance collections and process payments effectively.
• Communicate dental terminology clearly to patients and staff.
• Manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
• Assist with the management of electronic health records using carestack.
• Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.

Experience

• Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and medical collection processes is highly desirable.
• Proven skills in patient service, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Experience with clinic operations, including scheduling and managing medical records.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication with diverse patient populations is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
