Key Responsibilities1. Patient Consultation & Diagnosis

  • Conduct thorough clinical examinations and review medical history.
  • Diagnose conditions affecting oral and maxillofacial regions.
  • Interpret X-rays, CBCT scans, and other imaging reports.
  • Explain treatment plans, risks, and expected outcomes to patients.

2. Surgical Procedures

  • Perform tooth extractions (including impacted wisdom teeth).
  • Conduct minor oral surgeries.
  • Perform jaw surgeries (orthognathic surgery).
  • Manage facial trauma and fractures.
  • Treat cysts, tumors, and oral pathologies.
  • Perform dental implant surgeries.
  • Administer local and general anesthesia (as permitted).

3. Post-Operative Care

  • Provide follow-up care and monitor healing.
  • Manage complications and infections.
  • Prescribe medications appropriately.
  • Maintain proper surgical records and documentation.

4. Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Coordinate with dentists, orthodontists, anesthetists, and other specialists.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Guide junior doctors and support staff when required.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.
  • Follow hospital protocols and medical ethics.
  • Ensure proper documentation and consent procedures.
  • Adhere to medical council regulations.

Qualification Requirements

  • BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
  • MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Valid Dental Council Registration
  • Minimum [X] years of clinical experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 28 per week
