Responsibilities

Prepare the dental chair and surgical area according to the specific needs of each procedure, ensuring a safe and organized environment.

Welcome patients with compassion, clearly explaining treatment steps to help reduce anxiety and ensure patient understanding.

Assist the dentist by promptly passing instruments, materials, and supplies during surgeries and treatments to promote efficiency.

Accurately mix and prepare dental materials such as cements, fillings, and impression materials for use in various procedures.

Enforce strict sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain contamination-free tools, instruments, and surgical spaces.

Handle dental instruments carefully, ensuring all equipment is functional, clean, and readily accessible to avoid procedural delays.

Monitor and observe patient condition and comfort throughout procedures, reporting any unusual symptoms or concerns immediately to the dentist.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of surgical procedures, materials used, and patient interactions following clinic and regulatory standards.

Support inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying the team when dental instruments and materials need to be reordered.
