Job Description

The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental services within the Florida Department of Health, Duval County. This role involves providing preventive, restorative, and surgical care in a community dental clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of general dental services including:
• Comprehensive dental exams
• Preventive services
• Restorations
• Removable complete and partial dentures
• Extractions (within the scope of general dentistry)
• Document and manage patient care using EagleSoft, Electronic Oral Health Record, and HMS (Health Management System).
• Maintain high professional standards in patient care and infection control.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of general dentistry experience (exams, preventive, restorative, dentures, extractions).
• Proficiency in providing full-spectrum dental care within the scope of general dentistry.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Familiarity with EagleSoft (highly desired).

Education & Licenses

• DDS or DMD degree.
• Active Florida Dental License (in good standing).
• Active DEA license.
• Current CPR certification.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $90.00 - $101.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
