Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a comprehensive understanding of dental procedures and terminology. This role involves providing high-quality dental services, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and more. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices through continuous education

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid dental license in the state of practice
• Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and practices
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable
